The NEBRASKA BOARD OF VOLLEYBALL OFFICIALS (NBVO)
is an Affiliated Board of
the PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION OF VOLLEYBALL OFFICIALS (PAVO)
MISSION STATEMENT
The NBVO is dedicated to improving the quality of volleyball officiating for collegiate competition in the geographical area. The NBVO strives to increase the number of competent officials through education and mentoring and promotes involvement in the governing bodies of other volleyball groups.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the NBVO shall be to promote quality volleyball officiating by:
1. Providing standardized training and evaluation for volleyball officials.
2. Providing for the certification of volleyball officials.
3. Promoting the increased use of certified officials.
4. Disseminating information on the standards of conduct for officials compatible with the philosophy of the Professional Association of Volleyball Officials (PAVO).
5. Assigning certified volleyball officials to requesting schools.
